Xoth, also known as Xoth the Scourge, Xoth the Cold, Xoth the Calm. Xoth is unlike most rulers. Xoth’s personality is considered cold, calm, calculating, patient, merciless, and polite. Xoth never worries, becomes consumed by fear, nor does he get upset. His years of age and time spent inside the masks have made him see the world in a different more patient way. Many others faced with his demise would go insane instead.

Xoth is always prepared to defend himself and keeps his enemies as close as his allies. He respects power and loyalty but will not hesitate to destroy those that show any form of opposition. Xoth does prefer to approach situations with conversation and diplomacy unless it is obvious there is no other way. He believes in spending the least amount of resources to attain a goal but if he can use words to attain it then the price is inexpensive.

When he speaks it is calm and fairly monotone with little expression. Xoth can gruesomely describe how he will torture a prisoner enemy till his death without breaking his tone, breath, or sentence. He is usually very graphic in description when in conversation. He enjoys breaking down his adversaries with such talks when they are captured.

Play Xoth as a prepared wizard that likes to speak to his opponents rather than fight first. He will ask for what he wants and will keep his word in most cases unless the price for breaking it is very beneficial. Keep in mind he always has a way out. To trap him would take an incredible amount of ingenuity. Xoth’s power comes from his intelligence, preparation, and use of spells… not overwhelming magic items or physical strength.

Xoth usually dresses in very nice but not expensive clothes. He keeps himself simple with only 2-3 pieces of non-magical jewelry. This allows him to not draw attention.

His current goal is to return to the land of the living and reclaim his lost empire. He manipulates all that come in contact with the masks that his persona and soul inhabit. Due to the separation of his spirit amongst the masks passage of time for Xoth has gone very slow as many details of his long imprisonment are lost as time passes. His imprisonment has seemed to him as a few years rather than an eternity.

Currently he inhabits Baron Ganth and controls this ruler almost as much as he would control his own body. He is in pursuit of the remaining Masks of Destiny to become whole.
